Janice N. Chapman loves horses!
A lot of time, money, energy and effort has been spent gathering the bloodlines that we have now. It should go without saying that along with that it has been blood, sweat and tears.
The Five Cent Triangle is still in the process of building but what we have now is excellent.
We have built this website to bring togather horse people as well as to attract people who are looking for excellent quality horses.
About the wbsite:
a few notes from the website admin keivamp
This site is built using HTML4 because HTML5 is not, as of yet, fully implemented. I rebuilt the website for maximum capatability for all of the web browsers. If you want to see it in all of its glory than you must either use Google Chrome or Apple Safariweb browsers to see it all. There are some cool stylings that only those two browsers can see right now.
Previously we used a Content Management System like Dolphin from BoonEx Community Software Experts. Though Drupal and Joomla can be used to do the same job they require a multitude of plugins which slows them down to do what Dolphin does comming out of the box with super speed. Also after design complition it is easier to add/remove things in Dolphin, just a bit more stressful in design
This is a custom Content Management System called a KDS or keivamps Dynamic System running the new Darkwin CMS core. It uses PHP5 and MYSQL5 as well as CSS3 Json and AJAX with a few JavaScripts.
If you want to find out more about it go here: KDS
We host at Host your Web site with StartLogic! web service because it allows us plenty of room, bandwidth and freedom to do whatever we want, also it has a 99.99% uptime!
My hand coding is done with CodeLobster for two reasons, first its free and second it is a light wieght application (meaning it does not hog system resources) with an easy to use interface. It really does do an excellent job on whatever I am handcoding wether its JavaScript,CSS, PhP, HTML or just plain text.
For image editing I use either Photoshop by Adobe or Gimp. Photoshop is expensive but Gimp is free and it is really hard to tell what does the better job
